Public & Stakeholder Involvement
Development and adoption of a master drainage plan
A new master drainage plan is an amendment to the El Paso County Master Plan and so requires a public process that includes many stakeholders and the public, property owners, regulatory agencies, local cities, towns and districts, nearby counties and districts, military installations, utility providers, and finally, the appropriate boards and commissions.
The County wants to work together with the public and stakeholders throughout the entire project, especially when making plan recommendations and setting priorities. Working together in these partnerships helps with communication, acceptance, and support for putting policies into action and reaching project goals.
